(More customer reviews)We were putting our house up for sale and decided to purchase these stair carpet protectors. When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was they smell terrible. I thought they will probably lose the smell after a couple hours or a day at the latest. Nope. The smell lasted for weeks until we took them up. They also would not stay on the stairs. They kept popping up and sliding off the stair. It became hazardous to walk down the stairs so we decided to take them up. Big waste of money.
