(More customer reviews)I purchased this 6x9 rug to lay over new wall to wall carpeting in my son's bedroom. Because I felt my son was ruining our new wall to wall carpeting while eating in his room with his friends and doing projects at his desk I had to do something to save it. Tried carpet remnants, but they just moved around and would not stay in place. This rug has a rubber backing so it stays in place over the wall to wall. The dark brown color is very rich and the texture of the carpet is pleasing. It isn't a thick rug which is just what I wanted. Easily slips under furniture. In a few years when he has flown the coop here, I will remove it - maybe. For this price, I wont be too concerned if it gets stained or ruined.
