(More customer reviews)Despite the picture displayed and the claim that these rug grippers also work for throw rugs on carpet, they do not even begin to hold rugs in place over carpet. The rugs still creep as much as with no grippers at all. They adhere to the underside of throw rugs, but the cleats do not grip the carpet. They just slid around. I bought 9 sets of 4 and I'm sending them all back. Sounded like a good idea, but very disappointing.

Rug grippers keep mats and area rugs secure. Put an end to dangerous sliding rugs and keep corners from curling.
