(More customer reviews)I went through online shopping hell to find a large (at least 5 feet) bright red rug that would be soft under our feet and not too expensive. Do you know how hard it is to find an affordable rug that is JUST red, no patterns?
Finally, I found this one. Its a little expensive (for me), but overall, for a rug with shag at this size, its a good price when you compare to what else is out there. Its exactly the color I thought it would be, and it goes perfectly with my other furniture (dark blue futon and vintage green love seat).
I have only two negative things to say - I keep finding random white and tan fibers in it, since the first day I unrolled it. Also, the red fibers (the "shag") keep coming out, and get tracked off the rug through the house. So far, it doesn't seem to affect it - no bald spots yet! :)
Point of advice: Its not completely necessary to have a rug pad underneath because it is so big, it doesn't move much. However, I had already bought one at the same time as the rug, and I like how it keeps it in a particular place and how it won't shift a bit. I'm a little OCD in that way...
