The vacuum works as long as there's an attachment that has an electrical component and plugs into the cable. This leaves three attachments, all original equipment, all usable with the original hose, useless as the vacuum motor will not run when they are attached.
The attachments that do run do not run with the speed or power that the original hose used.
To call this a replacement is stretching the truth to it's breaking point.
