(More customer reviews)Cat condos are pretty expensive, so I wanted to get something that would please my cat and my wallet. This seemed like the perfect starter condo, and for 30 bucks it was the best deal I found.
The condo comes in a box and is pretty easy to assemble, but you will need a screwdriver to attach the scratching post. Once it's together it is relatively sturdy, but there were a couple of my times when my cat was scratching and I thought he might pull it over. It's also a little small. A medium-large cat will probably be peaking out of the house rather than fitting entirely inside. Also, we received one in a light blue color. You can't select a color, but it seems like they'll just send you a random one. It does tend to shed also. If your cat scratches the fluff a lot, expect to have to vacuum around it every few days.
Overall, this cat condo is a pretty good value especially for smaller cats, but just keep in mind that for a cheaper product you do have to make some sacrifices.

(More customer reviews)I was really happy when I ran across this on the site. First off, the shipping was $10 but I still liked it so I purchased. When it came in they had it so compressed in the box that the top bed part is smashed down and barely comes up. I have two averages size 2 yr old cats who can't even fit into it. The top is so tiny that if your cat is over a yr old don't even waste your money. All in all, I would never purchase this thing again and don't reccomend it because your cats will outgrow it EXTREMELY quick. This is probably going to end up in the garbage in a couple months unless the cats for some strange reason really take to it.

(More customer reviews)I love love love the look of the "cat tree" to begin with - it doesn't look like a huge carpet eye-sore in the middle of the room, which is a HUGE plus. I haven't seen my cat use the center "hammock" area for anything other than bat at the little toy, but he LOVES snoozing on the top portion. The only downside of the product is the toys do come off the strings VERY easily (they didn't last more than a few hours). Other than that, we LOVE it!

(More customer reviews)This cat tree has a firm base but no amount of tightening stops the posts from wobbling. It is especially noticeable on the level with the cat house. My cat is pretty fearless (he likes to jump into his automated litter robot box when it turns and ride it around) so he doesn't mind. If there were a connection between the posts rather then them being free standing, the wobble might be reduced. The carpet is good quality. Unfortunatly the roof of the cat house that I received was separated at the seems with 2 nails sticking up. I had to do a little repair work on it. This is an average cat tree but my cat plays on it so its ok with him.

(More customer reviews)I just purchased this post and my cats love it. I mainly wanted it as a scratching post for my older cat so I like that the posts are carpeted. The carpet is not very high quality but I kind of expected that. It is fairly sturdy except if a cat is in the very top it will wobble a bit. I submitted a picture so you can get a better idea of the size it was smaller than I thought it would be. I looked everywhere for a real picture of this thing when I was shopping so I felt I could help the next person. Overall I am happy with this cat post.

We have a multiple cat household and have cats of various ages, sizes and agility skills. Our heaviest cat at 17 lbs fit on all levels and while the platforms at the top are not the biggest he fit on them comfortably. Our oldest cat at 18 years old used the stair climber to the next level from the floor and did so with ease.
The tree is sturdy and we don't have any wobbling that would make us hesitate having two 17 pound cats at the top jumping around. It is made with solid wood, not particle board which is great! The felt "fake fur" covering the wood is thin, not like the carpet on most other trees, however, it is soft and easy to clean.
The scratching posts are used the most and hold up very well to every use. You may want to get new hanging toys because the little yarn balls that come with the tree fall apart easily.
The product name plate attached to the front of the tree gives it a classy and expensive look even though the cost was very reasonable.
In our opinion we think everyone with a multiple cat household should have one of these. Oh, assemble it where you want it because it is bigger than you think. The company does a great job packing it so you will be surprized at the small box compared to the final size.

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these from my local hardware store for my cats about 1 year ago. They LOVED it. They loved the swinging ball and the upward scratching motion. We had several flat cardboard scratchers but one of our cats still scratched the couches. Once we purchased this post, all furniture scratching stopped. My cats scratched this post until the rope was shredded, so I'm now looking for a new one to buy. Don't get me wrong, the quality is good, my cats just scratched it that much!!
We paid more than Amazon's price, but my cats definitely scratched my money's worth out of it!
