(More customer reviews)The actual rug is not as gold as it appears in the picture. I wanted the gold and turns out I could have used a 7x10 but it is still nice. It is very thick. I will go ahead and use it for a while becuase it is too much trouble to return...Still it is really pretty and was a great deal. You couldn't beat the price.

(More customer reviews)This rug is beautiful (if darker than depicted), soft and really accents the room well. I had only one gripe with it at first - it had a terribly strong odor when it was first taken out of the packaging. A chemical/petroleum type smell that was so bad that we couldn't keep it in the room (caused us to have headaches and burning noses). The rugs went out in the garage where I laid them out on the cement floor to air out. They eventually did, but it took about five days of "gassing out" before we could stand them back in the house. I still think they are a very good buy for the price, but be aware they are going to stink at first.

For what I paid for it, it wouldn't be worth my time and effort to ship it back. And I have to admit, the rug isn't worth the price there asking for it either. I could have picked the rug I got up at Wal-Mart for half the price.

(More customer reviews)5 stars for shipping. I received this rug 3 days after I ordered it, which is very quick compared to other items I've ordered online. 4 stars for the rug itself. The picture is deceiving because the rug itself is very dark. The "sand" colored portions are a mid-dark brown and all of the accent colors are very dark brown or black. The rug is all different shades of brown, no green, yellow, or other colors. I bought this rug for my entry way and it's fine that it's darker than expected because it's a high traffic area, but don't buy this rug if you want something lighter colored.

(More customer reviews)It's soft, it's big, it's cheap. My only beef is that it's not wool, but that's the only reason why it costs what it does.
If they offered a wider pattern selection to my taste, I'd have one in every room, they are that soft. The backing also has a bit of no-slip to it, so a pad is nice for padding, but not needed to keep the rug from sliding on a wooden floor.
