(More customer reviews)'Henkel/Duck' makes a great line of effective rug gripping tape. The tape consists of a strip of durable latex foam. One side is adhesive. The reverse floor side has that patented foam. This combo works perfectly to keep your area rug right where you put it. No sliding. No bunching up. No wrinkling.
We have it on a 25 x 3 foot long runner on a tile floor. And some large sized area rugs on a hard wood floor. For over 10 months this product has kept them right where I put them.
But....... Watch which one you buy. They come in a wide variety of sizes and lenghs. The one sold here is great for a small area rug. But you have to find the 6'x25" monster strips for your longer rugs.
We tried various other rug gripping products with much frustration. The double sided ones just don't hold up after a few months because they attract dust that clings to the floor oriented side and defeats the grip. Amazingly this foam is also repositionable. So you can clean under that area and reposition it without problems. . . .vous avez fini!
