It is is especially useful for eliminating odors from urine and feces and can be used on cloth diapers for babies. We have seven dogs (all rescue) and it cleans up tough odors from doggie accidents like a champ. If you put a quarter cup into your drains at night before you go to bed, it will eliminate the odors and will also help prevent clogs. It is earth friendly, safe to use and non-toxic. It is also very gentle to your skin. It works to actually eliminate the odors with food-grade enzymes. It doesn't "mask" or "cover them up". Non-animal tested and no animal products. I use an ounce in every load of laundry I run.

(More customer reviews)Bac-Out is the best stain remover I've found, for food stains (including coffee stains, and any other staining substance produced by a living organism...which includes kids :). It's also non-toxic and easy on your clothes (it eats away the stains, not the clothes).
It's NOT a general cleaner (Bio-kleen makes those too, but this isn't the same thing). I've used this to remove stains that nothing else will get out (other than straight Chlorine Bleach, but you can't use that on non-white stuff, and it's toxic and the process that makes Chlorine release massive quantities of Mercury into the environment).
Also, for this to work on a stain, you should use it BEFORE you wash and dry it...that usually kills off the organic material and sets in the stain (at which point nothings going to get it out except chlorine bleach :P ).

(More customer reviews)I have an elderly cat with bladder problems. I wanted to eliminate the urine odor and not eliminate the cat. Bac-Out was recommended to me at the health food store and I was amazed at the results! In the past I used a white vinegar/water solution, but Bac-Out works even better. I have used it on carpet (no stains!) and bedding with excellent results.
I have also used Bac-Out to wipe down walls and it eliminated "smoker smell" from an apartment I moved into. I buy it in bulk and use it often. I love this product so much, I've even shared it with friends.
