(More customer reviews)I bought these because I needed something on our hardwood stairs to avoid slipping (mostly for the dog). They definitely aren't the prettiest or most fashionable, but they do the job. They stay in place very well without having to attach them to the actual stair, and my dog has a much easier time going up and down. I would recommend them if you don't want to spend a lot of money, or time attaching carpet to your stairs. I had no problem with the company and I received them fairly quickly.

(More customer reviews)The journey to find stair tread covers began as a result of an elderly dog needing help getting up the hard wood stairs. The local search was fruitless. We found these and they are perfect. The dimensions are a perfect fit. they are attractive in the oblong style and the rich color dresses the stairs up. Absolutely the solve the problem for the pet. They can be stapled down, be we do not see that they move when walked upon, and so we have elected not to permanently affix.

(More customer reviews)The carpet treads I received from stacks and stacks were suppose to be all the same color and texture. However, the eight treads i received from them were two different shades of beige, one light and one dark. In addition to that, I received two different textures, four smooth and four twig type. To make make matters worse, when I called for assistance and to request a refund I was told that I couldnt be helped via phone and that I would need to send them a letter with my complaint and a copy of the package receipt.
