Magic Sliders Magic Slider 22MM/Nail Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these to replace the pads that I installed in the past on a set of dining room chairs.
I'm using them on ceramic tiles with fairly wide, rough grout, so they tend to wear out in a year or so.
I can pop off the worn out sliders and snap on the replacements. (I don't use the mounting hardware, as
I had already installed those.)
The included nails are not the best way to attach the sliders to chair legs. Vibration
tends to loosen them. And, on a narrow chair leg, it's important to drill a pilot hole
to prevent splitting.
Instead of the nails, I use small wood screws and enlarged the hole in the mounting hardware.

(More customer reviews)They work well, but some don't stay on for very long. The instructions say to wash the surface that you stick these to, but it still didn't stay on very long. The ones that do stick work really well, everything slides along the floor with no damage. Great idea, but it didn't work extremely well for me the first time. Good thing it came with so many.

(More customer reviews)When I bought two large 5-drawer filing cabinets, I was worried about moving them to clean or move to get to the cabling behind them. I searched around and found these and they sounded perfect. Before I put the cabinets in place, I simply peeled off the backing and stuck them to the bottom (I used 6 per cabinet since they were so large and heavy). When it came time to move them, they slid easily across the floor, even when completely full. When I moved, the cabinets, the only furniture with these sliders, were the easiest to move. Contrary to the previous review, these were not designed for items like chairs which are not heavy enough to enable the sliding purpose of this product. These sliders are for heavy objects - couches, cabinets, beds, dressers, desks, etc. Anything that can get of a bit of heft and weight to it. They make moving the item a breeze even when the object is loaded down with belongings. I can count on one hand the number of 5-star pruduct reviews I've written but I really believe in these.

Because they are sufficiently sticky, it was easy to put them on the legs of all the tables, beds, couches, etc. The value pack comes with the "sheet" size that can be trimmed to fit (we used them on the bottom of a recliner). In my opinion, spending a few bucks on these floor protectors is saving us a lot of money - if we scratch these floors, we'll have to have them refinished before selling. These work perfectly, even on the coffee table we drag to several different places in the living room.

(More customer reviews)Moving that desk? The sofa? If you can get someone to lift up the legs (assuming you need help) these teflon pads are a miracle. Slide them under the legs of the table or sofa and push across a rug like a sledge in the fine snow. Wheee!!!! And they prevent scratching the floor ...as long as you wipe the floor first to keep grit from under the pads.
I'd say these are a must-have in any home, and I'd recommend them as a housewarming gift. Get two sets and you will make a memorable impression for anyone as a practical, thoughtful person. And get a set for yourself. These are terrific.
