(More customer reviews)We bought this rug for a very reasonable price and have been quite satisfied with it so far. It is attractive and seems to be good quality. The only thing is that it seems to shed like crazy, every time we vacuum it, it fills up the vacuum bag with brown wool fibers, but I've heard this is normal for a new rug of this type and it should eventually stop shedding.

Hoover Portable Canister Vacuum, Bagged, S1361 Review

(More customer reviews)Purchased this Hoover 3 months ago. I currently have a Eureka Mighty Mite and decided that I wanted to have another lightweight canister vacuum for downstairs. I happened to come across the Hoover Bright Orange canister vacuum and thought it was so neat looking, and since it was a Hoover - how could you go wrong.
Well the problems are as follows: suction - fair at best; wand connecting to the head won't stay put - it keeps coming apart no matter how hard you push the wand into the head; the bag - since I wasn't getting any suction I checked the bag and found that though it was only half-filled, the bottom of the bag had disintegrated - this happened twice. I'm not sure if this was due to its close proximity to the filter/motor, but I have never had a bag do this on any other vacuum cleaner I've owned.
Sorry to say, but it's a great looking vacuum, but that's the only thing going for it.
Definitely buy the Eureka Mighty Mite if you're looking for a vacuum for light cleanups.

(More customer reviews)I just read the one and only review of this product - fortunately it worked great for me. My husband has to use coumadin for the rest of his life. This means that his skin is delicate and scrapes and tears easily so he bleeds a lot. Whatever it is that he bleeds on, clothes, towels, sheets, I have been able to get that stain out. Sometimes I need to use Oxi-clean in addition; follow the direction on the bottle -- I spray the blood spot, let it set for 3 minutes, I usually rinse and if it isn't gone, I repeat the spray and then soak the area in as small amount of warm/hot water that the fabric can tolerate, mixed with a scoop of Oxi-clean. Let soak for about 30 minutes, rinse and wash as usual. This works for me, I hope it does for you - good luck.

ANTI ICKY POO "UNSCENTED" GALLON Review

(More customer reviews)I am a fan of the original Anti-Icky-Poo. However, it is heavily scented, and when I have to spray a large area, the scent is overpowering.
Enter the *unscented* Anti-Icky-Poo. Wow! What an improvement. I can spray to my heart's content and urine odor is gone within a day or two. It really works to eat up odors, not mask it. Believe me, my nose can tell whether a spot has been sprayed or not.
I usually use a Bissell SpotBot Hands-Free Compact Deep Carpet Cleaner, 1200B and follow up with this spray. It works without Spotbot (my husband just sprays), but I like to clean as much urine out as possible before spraying.
This review is for the gallon refill, which does not come with a spray bottle. You must buy the smaller spray bottle or use your own spray bottle and refill with this solution. I only buy the gallon bottles, because we go through so much of it. (Bad dog!)

Lola Rola Sticky Mop Review

(More customer reviews)This is just a large size sticky roller, like the one you use to get lint off of clothes. It is very useful in some places, and gets more things off the tile floor than you ever thought were there, even after the floor has been swabed. I do not know how it wouold do on a carpet, perhaps not as good as a vacuum. My dog gets on my bed during the days, and it takes the hair off the sheets in seconds.
On a tile floor one must "pre swipe" it over a rug or bed, because the adhesive is so good that it sticks to the floor and has to be scraped off (Ungh!) The roller is held by a press apart plastic U shape holder which is very fragile and easily broken. The refills are a bit expensive for throwaways, but I think it is workth it.
