My household is active with three kids who move about the house in a flurry of activity. This is the only rug pad that I have ever used that keeps the rug in place no matter how much activity is occurring in and around the rug. It costs a little more than the type that you can get at your local home improvement store, but it is well worth it. Highly recommended.
