(More customer reviews)We purchased this rug pad to replace a 'waffle' pattern (Wicker Lok?) pad under our dining room area rug. We are using it on a Pergo floor. The old pad had left residue on the floor that I am still trying to remove - so don't buy Wicker Lok for hardwoods or laminates or any hard surface! Fortunately, it comes off the Pergo eventually but I don't know if people with hardwoods are as lucky.
This Cushion Aire pad was recommended by the people from whom I had originally purchased the rug and who were cleaning the rug. They could not get the pad from their supplier for some reason so I found this on Amazon and purchased it.
It is very thin, which we wanted for the dining room since we don't want the rug-to-floor transition to be too high. I was able to cut it to fit (some grid lines would help as this is now no longer a true rectangle! I've only had it down for a few weeks but it doesn't appear to be leaving any marks and it certainly keeps the rug from sliding and you don't 'kick up' the edge of the rug.
I won't give it five stars because we haven't had it very long. Otherwise, we are quite pleased.
