(More customer reviews)My veterinarian recommended Get Serious about a year ago, and I have never been so pleased with a pet stain remover. The product is safe and very effective; it normally gets stains of all varieties out the first time (although bile-colored cat vomit on white carpet may take two passes), and has not harmed any of the materials that I have seen it used on.
I have tried almost every pet stain remover on the market and this is by far the best I have ever used. As for odor removal, it seems effective (I certainly can't smell any remnants of the offending material after treatment), but remember that cats and dogs can smell much better than we can, so I hesitate to claim that all traces of odors are removed. What I can say is that after treatment all stains and humanly detectable odors are gone, and I have predominantly white carpet in the house, which provides a tough testing ground.
This product is not the cheapest on the market, but I recommend it highly for versatility and effectiveness: as far as I'm concerned it is unsurpassed.

I had used my Bissell along with Nature's Miracle Orange Oxy and it would get clean but it just did not get that fresh smell that I wanted. I would go over my couches and love seat with Fabreeze as well but it just was not working. This product smells great and the lingering smell in my living room immediately was immediately gone.
One of my cats is sensitive to smells and did not have a reaction with this product either. I am very satisfied with this product and would buy it as a replacement to the Orange Oxy and the Fabreeze. I think I am going to go through the house and flip my mattresses and spray those down too and wiped down my walls with it.

Folex Carpet Cleaner is the first enzyme cleaner that I used (large white spray bottle (bigger than this) with purple ink). It worked really well and I only needed a small amount. It zapped up everything. This one seems to be a little less effective than Folex and it's a touch more expensive.
I've also used Wine Away, which seems a little stronger than this product but it is more expensive and the bottle is much smaller. Happily I've learned how to make enzyme cleaner at home so I'll buy less of it now.

A friend recommended Wee Cleaner to treat the carpet in my guest bedroom where my lab had an accident. I poured Wee Cleaner on the carpet (approximately 1' x 2' area) until it was soaked. As the instructions mentioned, the odor did get worse at first. After a few days, the odor had improved significantly, but I went ahead and treated once more. After a few more days when the carpet had dried, the odor was gone and has stayed gone. In short:
Pros:
1. Easy to apply
2. No added perfumes
3. Effective and reliable
Cons:
1. May need more than one treatment, although I have never had to treat an area more than twice.
2. Slightly more expensive than other products, but well worth the cost IMO.

I have cats. My cats are now being kept indoors and they don't much like it. I know this because I get daily reminders on my carpet and bed. Thank heavens for Pee Whiz! It does work and does what it says. I've used lots of the enzymatic cleaners in my day and most of them work pretty well. The thing I really like about Pee Whiz (besides the pleasant fragrance and the fact that it gets rid of smells and stains from cat poo,urine and vomit) is that - unlike its competitors - it doesn't leave a sticky residue behind on carpets and floors that you discover several days later when there is a big dirty spot where the pet "accident" used to be. It is just clean. I even experimented on a blood stain on my carpet by putting the Pee Whiz on it and it did actually dissolve the whole stain. It did take two applications of the Pee Whiz to do this but it only took a few hours to totally dissolve the blood stain which had been dry. Pee Whiz works and it works well and -- bonus!-- it's cheaper than most all its competitors!

Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! So let me get to the point here. Nature's Miracle does work. However, it works at its best when used in the following manner. When your little pet strikes, take a few paper towels and GENTLY soak up as much of the pee as you can. Repeat this process with many paper towels until you have soaked up as much as you can. DO NOT RUB, DO NOT ADD WATER! Now get yourself a measuring cup, and here is why you buy the gallon sized. Pour between 6-8 ounces of the product over the spot. This is about how much pee comes out of a little dog, so you want to match that. Let the product soak in the spot and dry as long as it needs. Do not simply spray the spot, because, trust me, the pee HAS gone down to the pad, and a little spray will not do the job. Now, after the spot has dried, you may want to apply to spray, just for a little extra treatment. I had a 24 ounce spray bottle that I refilled with the gallon, but it left me with plenty to treat the problem initially the way I had described.

I've tried all the odor removers out there (the enzymes, cleaners, professional carpet cleaners, diatomaceous earth, powders, granules, everything at pet stores). Then, about a year ago, someone told me about X-O. I gave it a try on a couch that a feral cat had peed on...IT WORKED and saved the couch!!! So, I began using it on all the pet accidents. It removes all the odor. I use the X-O plus cleaner, and it's amazingly effective at cleaning up the poop from the carpet. I always have this on hand, and was very happy to find it at Amazon for less than I was paying the local distributor. This is a wonderful product.

Our carpet is olefin, and not supposed to stain. This spray not only smells great and removes odor, but it removed two year old stains from vomit after a pet's battle with cancer. It even worked through the multitude of solutions I had tried on the same places in the carpet, even after Stanley Steemer tried twice. The loss of the pet was horrific and the stains were a constant reminder. I cannot say how it would work on nylon carpet, but I do highly recommend trying it.

That means lots of litter boxes and hair balls.Over the years I have tried almost every stain and odor remover out there. Some are better than others. Some don't work at all. I have found pretty good stain removers but only fair odor removers - until now. Fizzion really works. I gave it the hardest test - remove odors from the litter boxes. I emptied and washed the boxes then sprayed half with Fizzion and and half with the next best I have found, then let them dry. The Fizzion boxes smelled better than new. The cats sure noticed. Before using this, we used various industrial strength chemicals, and nothing compares to the success we've had after switching to this baking powder. we sprinkle it as soon as we enter the room, and as we leave, vacuum (~15 min after sprinkling it). After switching, we haven't had even one guest complaint about the smell.
I STRONGLY recommend this to anyone who's trying to get out any ciggerette, alcohol, pungent odor.
