(More customer reviews)We had problem with cat urine in a home we purchased. We removed the baseboards to reveal the marked areas. We treated the areas, according to directions three different times. It only worked in a few places were there was only light cat odor. It did not help with the more saturated areas where the cat had marked. We treated by spraying the walls, base boards and carpet. We even injected the product into the carpet....three different occasions. It has been a month now and we can still smell the cat urine. Looks like we will have to invest in more expensive repairs. I would not recomend this product for purpose of getting rid of cat urine odor.

I had used my Bissell along with Nature's Miracle Orange Oxy and it would get clean but it just did not get that fresh smell that I wanted. I would go over my couches and love seat with Fabreeze as well but it just was not working. This product smells great and the lingering smell in my living room immediately was immediately gone.
One of my cats is sensitive to smells and did not have a reaction with this product either. I am very satisfied with this product and would buy it as a replacement to the Orange Oxy and the Fabreeze. I think I am going to go through the house and flip my mattresses and spray those down too and wiped down my walls with it.

(More customer reviews)Okay, so after moving into my new house I was hoping beyond all hope that my little pug wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! So let me get to the point here. Nature's Miracle does work. However, it works at its best when used in the following manner. When your little pet strikes, take a few paper towels and GENTLY soak up as much of the pee as you can. Repeat this process with many paper towels until you have soaked up as much as you can. DO NOT RUB, DO NOT ADD WATER! Now get yourself a measuring cup, and here is why you buy the gallon sized. Pour between 6-8 ounces of the product over the spot. This is about how much pee comes out of a little dog, so you want to match that. Let the product soak in the spot and dry as long as it needs. Do not simply spray the spot, because, trust me, the pee HAS gone down to the pad, and a little spray will not do the job. Now, after the spot has dried, you may want to apply to spray, just for a little extra treatment. I had a 24 ounce spray bottle that I refilled with the gallon, but it left me with plenty to treat the problem initially the way I had described.

We've been battling our basement since we moved into our new (rental) home almost two months ago. It's extremely rare to have a basement in Phoenix, AZ. Apparently neighborhood cats and mice found it novel as well and decided to use it as a toilet since the previous owner/occupants left the outside cellar door wide open the majority of the time. The stench and dampness (it's pretty wet here right now and we're in a very low part of the city) was pretty overwhelming. To top it off about 1/3 of the basement is dirt (dirt floor), allowing the damp dirt smell to just hang in the air down there before filtering up right into my beloved closet. We were skeptical of this product but in desperation we threw down the money for two bags of it to help control the odor in the basement (approx. 700 sq ft).
The product:
I hung two bags of this stuff from the beams in the basement, and within a couple of hours noticed a massive decrease in the odor which no amount of cleaning, vacuuming, and sprays had eliminated in the weeks before. Within three weeks I decided that it was "good enough" down there to move one of the bags to my closet area. With the dirt floor I realize the odor may never be completely gone in the basement, but it had stopped filtering upstairs, which was really my main concern. Anyway, within a few hours of putting the bag in my closet the smell in my closet that was coming from the basement (and some sweaty gym shoes, I admit) was GONE. I'm leaving one in the basement and one in the upper floor of the house to continue to act as odor control/dehumidifiers. They seem easy enough to "clean" too and I don't know that it needs to be done often (I've had these for 6 weeks and not had to do it yet). Apparently one just tosses them out in the sun for a day. Sun is not generally a hard to come by in Phoenix, but I don't know how well this cleaning process would work elsewhere in the winter months.
The only con:
Packaging was a little though to open and I accidentally ripped of the silver hanging ring on one bag as I tore off the plastic packaging.
Take home message:
This has really been an excellent product for us and we're very pleased! I don't know how well something like this would work for odors that keep coming (like if the cats and mice continued to use the basement as a toilet) but to rid a space of a funky odor, it worked like a charm for us and I don't know that we'll ever take these down other than to "clean" them a few time a year.

This product also works extremely well on stains -- all stains. I've been able to remove old set in stains on carpet and clothes and always take a small amount with me in a tiny travel bottle to remove any stains from clothes from food or drink spills. I've also found that by adding it to my washing machine along with detergent, my laundry comes out virtually stain free.

(More customer reviews)After using this product completely as directed, I found that it did remove the odor after several applications, however not as well as it claims. It has not detoured or discouraged my feline friend from going back to the same exact spot and re-soiling. Maybe I need to try the gallon size? The space only required a quart as recommended by the company as it was rather small spot. So I don't know if even a gallon would work any better? My advice: If it is a a rather large area or not, get the Gallon size! I really don't think this product is worth the money and hype. There are several other products on the market that do the same thing as this one does and work better without the hassel of several steps and are cheaper. An example is a product called Stink Free. You can find this product at any pet store and it is much cheaper with less the work. I think Anti Icky Poo would work well for other stains, but as far as urine stains.... it is not what it's all hyped to be!

Before using this, we used various industrial strength chemicals, and nothing compares to the success we've had after switching to this baking powder. we sprinkle it as soon as we enter the room, and as we leave, vacuum (~15 min after sprinkling it). After switching, we haven't had even one guest complaint about the smell.
I STRONGLY recommend this to anyone who's trying to get out any ciggerette, alcohol, pungent odor.

I found 3 different items which looked good so I bought them all. Natures Miracle, Kids and Pets, and Simple Solution. The Kids and pets smelled so strongly on its own I think it was worse than the urine smell. The Simple solution works, but you need to use a lot and it too has its own odor. First we toweled the spot and cleaned it with Woolite, but even after scrubbing the area and letting it dry several times over the course of two days, the odor was still pretty bad. We headed to the pet supply store to find something stronger, and picked this. Admittedly, a big factor in our choice was that we didn't know much about any of the products, and this cost less than most of the other power products (most of which contained enzymes to "eat" the foul odors). The other big factor was that this didn't have any perfumes or fragrances added, as these are a problem for a member of our household.
We were amazed at how well this worked. Following the directions, we sprinkled the white Odorzout powder over the problem area, and left it overnight. It said it would work better with a fan running on it, but we tried it without the extra electricity use first. The next morning, we vacuumed up the powder. Hooray--the smell was gone!
Since then, we've used it once more when the same problem happened, and it worked just as well. This second time we didn't use Woolite or anything else first. We just toweled the area, let it finish drying for a bit, and then used the Odorzout. The next morning, one member of our household who is *extremely* sensitive to smells could still detect some urine scent, although the rest of us couldn't smell anything. We used the Odorzout a second time on the same area, and then everyone agreed the smell was completely gone.My only concern was whether the area was really "clean" after being sprinkled and vacuumed, without also shampooing the carpet with anything. According to the package, the Odorzout "attracts and traps the gas and bacteria molecules that cause odor, even in flooring under carpet. When you vacuum it up, odors are gone for good." From what I can tell, that appears to be true. I'll still keep shampooing my carpets twice a year anyway, though!
So, I'm giving it five stars because it does exactly what it says it will do, very well. I wish it worked instantly, but at least this fixes the problem overnight.

Needless to say she soiled everywhere. I used puppy training pads to soak it up (ironic). Once the liquid was absorbed into the pad, I just sprayed this on the stain, let it sit for about 15 minutes, gave it a quick wipe and stain and odor were GONE! I mean it, there is no stain and no odor left anywhere. You can't even tell where they were and there were ALOT. It's an amazing product and works better than I ever expected.
