(More customer reviews)I have had the Thane H20 Mop Ultra for several months and have used it at least once a week, sometimes more, since we purchased it. I have not had the problems that some of the other reviewers have had. It did puddle a little the first time I used it, but the instructions say to expect that. It has not done that again. It cleans the floor very well and if there is something really stuck on, I go over it a few times and it comes up. Here are the pros, cons, and suggestions for use:
Pros:
No chemicals
With comfort taken into consideration, better than hands and knees cleaning (which was previously my preferred method because it cleans better than any mop)
Doesn't take very long to clean my kitchen floor
Cons:
The microfiber cloths come off if they get too wet
You have to move rather quickly to prevent the heads from getting too wet
You have to have the mop head at an angle or else it comes off the floor when you're pulling it back toward yourself
Suggestions to make it work well:
Wash your mop heads in free and clear detergent (no color, perfume, etc.), no fabric softener, and line dry.
DON'T ADD ANYTHING TO THE WATER TANK BUT WATER (like the instructions say!).
If possible, wash the heads in a hot wash as soon as you're done so the dirt doesn't dry on there.
Wash your floors rather frequently--if the floors get really dirty, it's harder on the mop (though it will still do a great job, in my opinion).
If you treat your mop well and follow the directions, it should work fine. It's not fair to treat it however you want and then write a bad review when it doesn't perform perfectly! :)
