(More customer reviews)We purchased this rug to go over our carpet in the dining room. We have a 15 month old and needed something to protect the carpet. It worked well for a few weeks, but the weight of the table and chairs started to crack the bamboo. We had to give the rug away for fear of the foot long slivers of wood that started to develop around the cracks. The rug was nice and I think it would work well on tile, it just didn't work for us
