(More customer reviews)We got this rug to cover a specific play area for our child. The area was a 6x6 purple mat. Once we laid the rug down we soon discovered that it was not the size advertised. The ugly purple mat stuck out all around showing that the rug is about 2" short on each end. I originally wrote a negative review since I felt this was a misrepresentation.
The company contacted me and handled this very well. The rug did arrive on time, looked very similar to the picture and has a good quality to it. They notified Safavieh to which they have responded it may have been a factory configuration error. All their 6' rugs actually measure "5'10 and a half by 5'10 and a half". I realize that this may not be a big deal for all purchasers. The company offered some alternatives to us and I feel they more than made up for the defect with good customer service. Because 6'square rugs are so hard to find we just kept it and made do for now.
