The Kitty Corner Starter Kit is the perfect Activity Center for any home with feline friends. It provides every activity a cat needs to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle. A Cozy Fur Condo serves as a place to play and a cozy shelter to sleep. Two Plush Fur Hammocks plus the roof of the Condo provide a choice of areas for sleeping or "guarding" the room. This unit provides great entertainment, a nice place to scratch and is easily movable. Both you and your feline(s) will love this Activity Center, as it conveniently fits in any corner of the home and stays out of the way! Each Plush Fur Hammock (made out of faux fur material with a canvas back) provides a tender cradle into which your cat can sink to rest or sleep. The carpeted legs are perfect for climbing and scratching. The horizontal carpeted beams provide a sturdy framework for walking and jumping. A Spring Action Toy is set in one of the end caps. Not only do cats love the Activity Center but people do as well! The Two (2) Plush Fur Hammocks and the Cozy Condo are easily removed and are machine washable to remove any dirt or parasites. Each hammock is supported by eight Velcro straps, which will support the heaviest cat. The color of the hammock is designed to accent any home decor and other colors are available. The carpeted 13.5-inch beams are easily cleaned with a wet cloth or squeegee and are individually replaceable in the event that any are destroyed through repeated scratching, as are the hammocks. There is no need to replace the entire kitty playground if only parts are damaged. The unit is lightweight and is easily moved through the house, for example, from a corner to under a window. We bought this because we didn't want a giant carpet monstrostity in the middle of the living room (don't worry, we have one of those too but elsewhere) but this is one of about a handful of products that I will say is worth every penny. It's takes a second for our guest to realize, and usually only after a cat plunks down on top, that it's cat furniture. We bought this even before we were able to bring the kitties home. It's the first place they chose to sleep when they arrived and the two still try to squeeze on the top level together even though they're huge cats now. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and very attractive. They don't really use the bottom cave too much except to hide out in when they're attacking each other, but they love to sleep here and play from the different levels.

(More customer reviews)i really like this product as do my cats. they use as a bed and scratch pad. what i like best is that it doesn't create the same mess as a typical cardboard scratcher. the material is much stronger and it doens't fall apart as easily. the only downsides- which aren't a big enough deal to not purchase it are- 1) i wish the scratch portion came in a refill so you could remove it from the bed "frame" and replace it. but i guess i will just buy an entire new one when needed. 2)- b/c if the ripple texture, there are not many places for catnip to get in there without making a mess, bc it doesn't fall in to any cracks.
