I have been looking around my area for cat trees and most of them look like they were manufactured with cheap-looking materials or were poorly constructed. I read some reviews about Molly and Friends products on Amazon, and I thought I would try it for my little kitten. It was a great purchase!
Although the box it was delivered in was gigantic, I was glad that the furniture was already put together. It is very sturdy and has a large base that does not wobble. Before I got the product entirely out the box, my kitten was already jumping and playing with it!
Here are some things, in particular, I really like about this cat tree:
1) The carpet that the product is made of is very attractive looking. It doesn't look like some cheap wood shop project that most major pet stores pawn off.
2)For its price, the cat tree is a very good value considering its nice construction, and design
3)The built-in sisal rope scratching post is a nice feature. It eliminates the need to buy a seperate scratching post for kitty.
4) All the tiers are exposed, so kitty won't feel claustrophobic.
I highly recommend this product for someone who is looking for a premium quality, attractive cat tree.

Cat Craft 124070 1-Story Condo Tower Review

(More customer reviews)Cat condos are pretty expensive, so I wanted to get something that would please my cat and my wallet. This seemed like the perfect starter condo, and for 30 bucks it was the best deal I found.
The condo comes in a box and is pretty easy to assemble, but you will need a screwdriver to attach the scratching post. Once it's together it is relatively sturdy, but there were a couple of my times when my cat was scratching and I thought he might pull it over. It's also a little small. A medium-large cat will probably be peaking out of the house rather than fitting entirely inside. Also, we received one in a light blue color. You can't select a color, but it seems like they'll just send you a random one. It does tend to shed also. If your cat scratches the fluff a lot, expect to have to vacuum around it every few days.
Overall, this cat condo is a pretty good value especially for smaller cats, but just keep in mind that for a cheaper product you do have to make some sacrifices.

(More customer reviews)My cats like it, but like some reviews say, it's a tad bit wobbly. I added some extra screws to keep the half-circle platform pieces in place, and I screwed the sides of the circles to the posts they rest against as well. I could probably add a few more in the base or something. Overall, not wobbly enough that my cats avoid it, but enough that I would only put it against the wall, not out in an open area.
That bit aside, it's one of the better quality-looking pieces I've ever owned. The carpet/fabric is thick and fuzzy, and I don't see my cats getting through it any time soon. It's not enough that they get their claws stuck in it, but it's nice and fluffy for them.
The toys are somewhat silly and useless. My cats hardly play with them, but they will occasionally spring them around to smack each other in the face with them. That's about all they're good for!

(More customer reviews)This is not the best quality and I'm sure the company (go pet club) is well aware of that fact.
My cat tree is missing one of the mice on the string and I second what another reviewer said: the stairs do not work. Whoever designed the stairs messed up on that part because there was no way they could be put on. If you screw them in, they hang straight down. Also, the top condo needed a longer screw, so I went out and bought one to solve that problem. It just sucks because I have these cat tree stairs hanging out in my closet now with no use for them (any suggestions?). I emailed the company about the problems and they sent me 2 really crappy screws that had been sloppily cut to another size as well as an extra condo piece (which I didn't need but was happy to get), but they didn't do anything about my missing mouse and those BS screws did not fix the stair issue. They wanted pictures showing the problems as if they don't know about it already. & FYI I put blankets inside of the condos because the cover material, while soft, is thin.
That being said, I am happy to have received this as a gift, even with the issues. My cats love it and use it daily to scratch, sleep in, or climb on. I would probably have been more angry though if I'd been the one who bought it.
Zero stars for the company, and 3 stars because my cats enjoy it anyway (and aren't on my couch as much!). But cats enjoy playing with crumpled paper...

25" Cat Tree in Grey Faux Fur Review

(More customer reviews)I was really happy when I ran across this on the site. First off, the shipping was $10 but I still liked it so I purchased. When it came in they had it so compressed in the box that the top bed part is smashed down and barely comes up. I have two averages size 2 yr old cats who can't even fit into it. The top is so tiny that if your cat is over a yr old don't even waste your money. All in all, I would never purchase this thing again and don't reccomend it because your cats will outgrow it EXTREMELY quick. This is probably going to end up in the garbage in a couple months unless the cats for some strange reason really take to it.

(More customer reviews)I love love love the look of the "cat tree" to begin with - it doesn't look like a huge carpet eye-sore in the middle of the room, which is a HUGE plus. I haven't seen my cat use the center "hammock" area for anything other than bat at the little toy, but he LOVES snoozing on the top portion. The only downside of the product is the toys do come off the strings VERY easily (they didn't last more than a few hours). Other than that, we LOVE it!

(More customer reviews)I could have found a cone on the side of the road and stapled a remnant to it for less than 5 bucks. I paid $17 for this thing, and it is light as a feather. I am planning on rigging it with something heavy to keep it from knocking over, but still, think twice. I got this with a gift certificate, and if it were my money, I'd want a refund. It snagged already when I was moving it around... note this was before I even introduced it to the kitty. This thing shouldn't last too long.

(More customer reviews)This cat tree has a firm base but no amount of tightening stops the posts from wobbling. It is especially noticeable on the level with the cat house. My cat is pretty fearless (he likes to jump into his automated litter robot box when it turns and ride it around) so he doesn't mind. If there were a connection between the posts rather then them being free standing, the wobble might be reduced. The carpet is good quality. Unfortunatly the roof of the cat house that I received was separated at the seems with 2 nails sticking up. I had to do a little repair work on it. This is an average cat tree but my cat plays on it so its ok with him.

The carpet is not very high quality but I kind of expected that. It is fairly sturdy except if a cat is in the very top it will wobble a bit. I submitted a picture so you can get a better idea of the size it was smaller than I thought it would be. I looked everywhere for a real picture of this thing when I was shopping so I felt I could help the next person. Overall I am happy with this cat post.

We have a multiple cat household and have cats of various ages, sizes and agility skills. Our heaviest cat at 17 lbs fit on all levels and while the platforms at the top are not the biggest he fit on them comfortably. Our oldest cat at 18 years old used the stair climber to the next level from the floor and did so with ease.
The tree is sturdy and we don't have any wobbling that would make us hesitate having two 17 pound cats at the top jumping around. It is made with solid wood, not particle board which is great! The felt "fake fur" covering the wood is thin, not like the carpet on most other trees, however, it is soft and easy to clean.
The scratching posts are used the most and hold up very well to every use. You may want to get new hanging toys because the little yarn balls that come with the tree fall apart easily.
The product name plate attached to the front of the tree gives it a classy and expensive look even though the cost was very reasonable.
In our opinion we think everyone with a multiple cat household should have one of these. Oh, assemble it where you want it because it is bigger than you think. The company does a great job packing it so you will be surprized at the small box compared to the final size.

Molly and Friends cat furniture company makes some of the best small scratching posts. Our horizontal scratcher is just the right size for any cat to tear into. The carpet is high quality (great for scratching too), and the all natural sisal rope is heavy duty and stands up to even the most dilligent scratching. The wood post underneath the sisal is made of solid pine, so it won't bend or wobble like cardboard built scratchers. The handmade unit arrives fully assembled. Bergan Turbo Scratcher Cat Toy, Colors May Vary Review

(More customer reviews)The turbo scratcher is simply a plastic circular base with a ball that rolls around the track on the outer edge. It has cardboard corrugating medium as a clawing area on the inner part of the circle. It is very simple, yet highly effective.
I don't know why, but this has been a success with every cat -- young and old -- that I have seen around it (15 different cats). Once they get the ball moving, it really flies around the track! The younger cats manage to pull the ball out of it within 10 minutes, but they have a blast in those ten minutes. The smartest cats realize that it is more fun when it does stay in the track, though. A word of advice: don't put this in or near your bedroom. If your cat feigns disinterest when you first bring it home, watch out if you are a light sleeper -- a couple of hours into sleep you will wake with a start to the sound of the ball whipping around the track over and over and over again.
The two 14-year old cats that I currently reside with love this thing. They aren't usually interested in toys (in our presence), but did manage a very disinterested tapping of the turbo ball if they were sitting on the mat anyway. These senior cats' main interests in the Turbo Scratcher are 1) using it as a meditation/sleeping spot --- it is so much more sophisticated than sitting ON the floor, and 2) actually scratching it (and these two are declawed!).
The fact that the ball comes out of the track so easily is a small disappointment (granted the cats do have to grab it with both paws to pull it out). You can easily pop the ball back into place, but some of us have too many places that the cats can hide such a small item.
Besides that, after 4 years, all our cats still use it daily. As a toy, well, its success may depend on the age and personality of the cat. As a scratching post, however, it is the only one I have ever bought that all the cats consistently used as such (though they do still get use out of the couch, too). I have been a "cat caretaker" for many many years so I do have some experience with several different types of scratching posts and this is by far the best.

(More customer reviews)From the point of view of my 12lb American Bobtail ... this horrible scratching post has a life of it's own. She only tried it twice - the first time it fell on top of her (don't bother trying to secure it to anything, doesn't work) and the second time it became stuck to her claws. She hissed, spat and shook it off her paws then ran with much sputtering and hissing to hide behind the bed. She most definitely was not amused with her scratching post.

Chooch isn't much of a scratcher -- she does like the side of my bed and the antique chenille sofa in my living room -- but she's a stretch scratcher, and this scratching pad is right up her ally. She wouldn't touch it when it was hanging from a doorknob, but she's very happy with it on the floor. After she scratches on it, she loves to sit on it as if to keep anybody else in the house from claiming it.
