(More customer reviews)Surprisingly yes! I suppose because its 20% cotton that may help, but this rug feels great under your feet. Its sturdy, fashionable and feels good. Its a shag rug as advertised so expect thick strands (my girlfriend says they looks like worms, but I love them) and the pictures provided here are fairly accurate of what it looks like on your floor. For the price, this is a quality rug.

The best materials are used to make our rugs including 100% cotton (chindi) rags; expensive European dyes; high-grade cotton warp thread. The rags are triple washed after dyeing to prevent color transfer. Prairie rugs are machine washable in cold water. They can also be dry cleaned. (More customer reviews)I was happy to see that this rug came in 2' by 4' size according to ad. However, when it was delivered it was only 2' x 3'. I called the company, United Weavers of America, directly and was told that 2'x4' does not exist, but they have to put that size in ad. I let them know it was false advertising and would post this comment thereby letting other consumers become aware of this false advertising method. They continued to say that carpet sizes advertised are not actually sizes available.
The carpet is nice, and I will keep it and place it in another area, but I was totally disappointed and angered at this situation.

Now that I'm looking at the picture of the rug, it doesn't look nearly as nice as the picture, color wise.

I had it perfectly measured so that the full length of my hallway would be covered. Unfortunately since the length was not accurate I will actually need to buy another one to do this. I am still happy with the product especially for the price, however, it would have saved a lot of time if they would have the correct measurements listed. (More customer reviews)The quality of this rug seems to be very good, it's very soft and is the size anticipated (I've noticed - on other rugs - that people don't seem to get the exact size expected). The only thing, like another reviewer mentioned, is that the colors are definately not as vibrant as the picture seems to indicate. The color is also described as Royalty Brown Blue. It is definately not blue, it is grey. Overall though, I like the style and the quality and decided not to return this even though it's a little off from the description.
