(More customer reviews)I replaced an irritating, worthless waffleweave pad with this. What a relief! It holds in place a slippery little rug that I put over the carpet to protect a high traffic area. It no longer moves constantly around but stays nicely in place. I'm ordering another for a runner now.
Oops. In my previous review, I was so thrilled with my new Teebaud "non skid" rug pad, I thought I'd better update to save somebody some money. The pad was good for about a week so I ordered another larger one. Big mistake. There is some kind of adhesive on the pads that wore out in a about a week. Unfortunately, now I have 2 expensive sliding rug pads and no idea what to do next about the sliding rug problem next. Wish I could change to a 1 star rating!

This polyester fabric rug pad underlay outperforms all others. The white side goes over carpeting, the gray side goes over hard floors. The unique fabric construction lasts indefinitely, composed of two non woven polyester fabrics that are permanently needle-punched together. The white fabric was developed specifically for application over carpet, the gray for use on hard floors. These fabrics will not rot, crumble, flatten out, or shed. The two sides of the rug pad are lightly coated with a scientifically formulated, clean-lift, water-based adhesive. Unlike other ordinary nonskid underlays, this rug pad actually grips the rug backing and carpet or floor. This rug pad is designed with cutting edge fibers that allow continuous airflow making this rug pad completely odorless. This underlay is just as easy to install as any ordinary rug underlay. Simply cut to appropriate size, lay it out with correct side facing down, then place the rug. This rug pad is made in the United States and comes in a wide array of sizes.
