(More customer reviews)It's true you get what you pay for, whether it's cars, tv's or air. The Maxxair 4000 delivered maximum blowing capacity for a flooded basement. After returning home following a 2 week absence during subzero conditions, I was greeted with a broken supply line to the ice maker. The water had been leaking for days with over 3" of accumulation in our new log home's basement. We hadn't finished drywalling the basement and water was dripping off the ceiling like a rainforest. I rented 4, 1250 cfm units from the local rental agency until the 2 Maxxairs arrived 2nd day delivery from Amazon. I had the 4 rentals lined up on the wall directly below the broken line and the wall was still dripping wet after after 31 hours of blowing 82 degree air. Within 48 hours of using the Maxxairs the entire basement - walls, ceiling,&floors were completely dry with no warping! The cost of 4 rental was just a bit more than the total cost of the 2 Maxxairs. Since the purchase, my neighbors used them for quick drying paint and I've leased them twice through word of mouth for other unlucky homeowners with waterdamage.
